Uff .. this
*goong* story is driving me nuts now ..
Goong 2 which se7en is gonna act on will be now called
*Goong S* and it will not be sequence of goong 1. In fact it will not be related to goong at all. Goong 2 is just a rumour now cos they seem to haf some problem wif the production.
The thing is that Goong 1 was produced under a company called
*8peaks* and its director was PD Hwang but now PD Hwang and some staff of 8Peaks hab separated from 8Peaks and they haf set up their own production house
*Group8*. So this new Goong S is going to be produced under Group 8.The rights to film Goong still lies with 8Peaks so Group8 do not hv the legal right to film any production related to the original Goong .Goong S is promoted as the sequel to Goong 1, which is not right, since the storyline and everything has changed. 8Peak is still taking Group8 to court as the latter has been promoting Goong S as the sequel and 8Peak wanted to film their own sequel, which is the real Goong 2 (season 2). So if 8Peak's plan pull through, the real Goong 2 will NOT be directed by PD Hwang (he's going ahead to do Goong S). So Goong 2 will hv a new director.
But finding a new director might take some time and also the four main actors are busy wif their schedule so the real Goong 2 may or maynot happen . Tsk Tsk .. It wld haf been better if the director had added some more episodes to give a nice happy ending to goong 1 rather than thinking abt sequence when he wasnt sure of it .. & why dont he just change the name Goong S to something else if it is not going to related to goong 1 .. the title just makes the fans confused thinking it as the sequence .. uff .. wish the goong 1 had a nice ending cos i soo badly wanna see goong 2 .. wanna see more of cg & shin .. the ending wasnt tat gud.. there are still some things tat doenst make sense n im hoping goong 2 will haf all the answers !!
I dont noe if im gonna see Goong S or not

Characters profiles
(Credit Sandy @ purpletiger86 for translating)
Seven aka Choi Dong-Wook plays the character: Lee Hoo
Huh Lee-Jae plays the character: Yang Soon-Ae (she's the main female lead, since she plays the opposite of Seven)
Kang Doo plays the character: Lee Joon (he's from the group 'The Jadu', but according to that picture of the four leads...he sure doesn't look like Kang Doo, lol)
Park Shin Hye plays the character: Shin Sae-Ryung
Lee Hoo (Seven): His blood flows in a Royal family, but Lee Hoo doesn't know it. Not knowing that he's a prince, he works at a Chinese Restaurant as a delivery boy...delivering food in the palace. He looks at everything in a positive aspect and is an optimist by nature. Though he's in poverty (poor), he lives every day freely...but one day, something happens and it's the start of his life as a royal.
Yang Soon-Ae (Huh Lee-Jae): Everyone in the neighborhood knows Soon-Ae as an impracticable girl. She thinks preciously of her fraternal twin. But one day, she finds out that Lee Hoo is the boy that she grew up with as a child, and they start their life's together in the palace.
Kang Doo (Lee Joon): To become a prince, he recieved training as a mastery elite. He's a great candidate. Lee Hoo's appearance makes Lee Joon get farther away from becoming a prince. He's a perfectionist.
Park Shin-Hye (Shin Sae-Ryung): Honor and power, Sae-Ryung grew up in a wealthy family. She has never lost first place/spot at school (meaning she's very smart)...she has skills and the looks of becoming prince's wife. She always had the ambition of becoming a royal princess. However, the prince that she has always imagined of is completely different when she see's Lee Hoo's sudden appearance. A change comes to her way.
Note: As sandy cleared up, Yang Soon Ae's twin is NOT Se7en. As to who it is, i guess we have to wait to find out

If you guys have any comments n suggestions or even requests then feel free to drop it here ...
ok gonna start wif news abt GOONG 2
The main cast was originally supposed to return, but due to their rising popularity and busy schedules, only Kim Jeong Hoon was available to film Season Two. Rather than replacing the famous and familiar roles with new faces, Director Hwang In Roe revealed his intentions to completely switch the cast with new members. The plot of Season Two would be of a young worker at a Chinese restaurant who suddenly discovers that he is a member of the royal family and subsequently enters the palace. Hwang mentioned that he would be looking for Yoon Eun Hye's male counterpart, of sorts.
In October of 2006, Korean pop star Se7en was chosen to play the leading role in the second season of Princess Hours. He will play the character of "Lee Hoo", while others in the drama's second season include Huh Lee-Jae (who plays Yang Soon-Ae), Kang Doo (who plays Lee Joon), and Park Shin-hye (who plays Shin Sae-Ryung). Many of the supporting cast, including those who played the royal family, are expected to join the next season. The filming is scheduled to begin in October 2006, aiming for a January 2007 premiere date.
